It is the intent and purpose of this formal Invitation for Bids (IFB) to establish a contract to
acquire the services of a fully qualified Contractor to replace six packaged rooftop air
conditioning units (RTUs) and install one additional RTU at the County Administration
Building, 224 Ballard Street, Yorktown, VA 23690 for the County of York, Virginia (hereinafter
“Owner”). SCOPE OF WORK:
The successful bidder, hereinafter "Contractor," shall provide all management, supervision,
labor, materials (other than those listed in Section 4.0 as provided by Owner), equipment,
consumables and supplies required to remove and replace six existing RTUs, and install one
additional RTU, along with all associated work as further described herein.
The Contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective and complete performance
of all necessary services to be provided in accordance with the standards described herein.
The Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and agency approvals, and
shall adhere to all Federal, State, and Local regulations. See Section 6.0 for additional
information concerning York County building permits.
The Contractor shall be expected to commence work within (15) calendar days of Notice to
