The City of Palo Alto is seeking Proposals to provide electric power generated by renewable resources to meet the City’s renewable portfolio needs. The City’s resource eligibility standards are the same as those established by the California Energy Commission. However, Proposals for the sale of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) alone will not be considered. The City intends to negotiate and execute one or more Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), for terms of 5 to 30 years, with one or more Selected Bidders. The required services are described in the Scope of Services.
