A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for all prime bidders will be held at 10:00 am, local time, Thursday, August 30, 2012, in Room HH203 of Heritage Hall, at Inver Hills Community College, Inver Grove Heights, MN. The Architect/Engineer and/or College/University Representatives will review the bidding procedures, Bidding Documents and other conditions with interested Bidders and answer questions.
Project description: Work includes removal and reinstallation of the existing cooling towers on grade and electrical transformer on grade; concrete slab demo and removal; existing subslab soil removal, replacement correction, and recompaction; new cooling tower framework structure and footings, new transformer pad, new concrete slab, sidewalk and stair; new site drainage; and new roof gutter system attached to existing eave; as indicated on the Drawings. Some site finish work is involved including concrete segmental retaining wall modifications to existing wall, and some landscaping and sodding.
