All bids must be sealed and clearly labeled on the outside of the envelope: Davison Schools – Gates Elementary Boiler Replacement. Bid security, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total proposal, must accompany each bid in the form of a bid bond (certified check acceptable). Performance and payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder. Davison Community Schools will not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between Davison Community Schools and any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of Davison Community Schools. Proposals may be mailed or delivered in person to the Davison Community Schools Administration office. Bid received after 2:00 pm on August 29, 2012, will not be accepted. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Any questions should be directed to Phil Thom, Director of Operations at (810) 591-1050.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be conducted for Prime Bidders and other interested parties on August 22, 2012, beginning at 2:00 pm at Gates Elementary Office. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, accept a bid other than the low Bid, and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bid proposals which they feel to be in their own interest.
