Davison Community Schools will receive sealed bid proposals from qualified contractors for replacement of the Heating Boilers at Gates Elementary, 2359 S. Irish Rd. Davison, MI 48423 project. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 pm on August 29, 2012. All bids will be opened and read publicly on August 29, 2012, at 2:00 pm. All bids must be sealed and clearly labeled on the outside of the envelope: Davison Schools – Gates Elementary Boiler Replacement. Bid security, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total proposal, must accompany each bid in the form of a bid bond (certified check acceptable). Performance and payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder. Davison Community Schools will not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between Davison Community Schools and any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of Davison Community Schools. Proposals may be mailed or delivered in person to the Davison Community Schools Administration office. Bid received after 2:00 pm on August 29, 2012, will not be accepted.
