The Boston Housing Authority is seeking the services and bids of qualified contractors for THE REPLACEMENT OF FIVE EXISTING BURNHAM MODEL-V9 SERIES CAST IRON SECTIONAL STEAM BOILERS IN BOILER ROOMS, at the Mary Ellen McCormack Development in South Boston. The project estimate for the base bid work is $24,500. The term of the contract is THREE weeks from Notice to Proceed. Quotations submitted in response to this RFQ must be received by the BHA on or before 12:00 noon on 9/20/2012. A Site Visit will be held on 9/12/2012 at 10:00 AM. All interested parties should meet at 10 Kemp St. Boston, MA 02127. There is no charge for the specifications and bidding documents, which may be picked up at the above address or will be emailed on request.
