Sealed bids for WWTP HVAC Unit Replacement Packages 1 and 2, will be received by the City of
Lynchburg, Procurement Division, City Hall, Lynchburg, VA, until 3:00 p.m., September 19, 2012, and
then publicly opened and read, in the Bidder's Room, Third Floor, City Hall.
Project Description:
Package 1: Includes the replacement of one heating and ventilation unit (10,500 CFM, 850 MBH) located
on the roof of the City of Lynchburg WWTP Headworks Building. The existing unit will be demolished
and removed and two new heating and ventilation units will be installed including necessary ductwork
and controls. Unit 1 heating and ventilation unit (8,900 CFM, 800MBH) is replacing the existing unit on
the roof and Unit 1A heating and ventilation unit (1,900 CFM, 200 MBH) will be a new installation and
located on a new platform constructed on the northwest side of the building.
Package 2: Includes the replacement of one heating and ventilation unit (13,500 CFM, 800 MBH) located
on the roof of the City of Lynchburg WWTP Centrifuge Building. The existing unit will be demolished
and removed and a new heating and ventilation unit will be installed including necessary ductwork and
controls.
