This project is being solicited under the Air Force Special Straddle Bid Authority. Funds are not currently available for this project, and no award will be made until funds become available. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, either before or after the proposal closing date with no obligation to the offeror. FAR clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds will be incorporated into the solicitation.
This synopsis is for the Upgrade of HVAC System for Building 90810 on Hurlburt Field, FL. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment to perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work as shown on the drawings and in the specifications. The general work includes, but not limited to upgrading two (2) HVAC systems to include removal of air handling units, installation of new air handling units, removal and replacement of six (6)VAV boxes, installation on run around energy recovery coil and pump, test and balance of facility air and hydronic systems, removal of all circuitry to HVAC equipment and VAV equipment scheduled for removal, provide new circuitry for new mechanical equipment, and provide new panel board to provide circuitry to new VAV boxes. This acquisition will be set aside for HUB-Zone offerors only.
