RFP Description:
1) The project will consist of the replacement of the gas furnace in 12 dwelling units located in the Baker
Heights neighborhood.
2) Contractor is responsible for any permits that may be required.
3) Contractor shall complete work per all applicable code requirements.
4) Replace existing furnace with a Heil 50,000 BTU or equal. (If not installing the Heil, must provide
submittal for a substitution furnace)
5) Contractor is responsible for removal of all work related debris from jobsite on a daily basis and
removal of the old furnace per E.P.A. guidelines.
6) Contractor shall provide all new ducting adaptations fresh air return, gas flue adaptations, gas piping
adaptations, line and low voltage adaptations and a gas furnace for each of the 12 units.
7) Start up and testing for proper installation and usage.
8) Provide Everett Housing with any and all warranty information from both the manufacturer and
contractor for a period on no less than 1 (one) year.
