Des Moines Public Schools (District) is looking for material and design proposals for the projects listed below. Each
project will require a lighting layout showing approximate fixture locations and average foot candle matrix. The
District would like to look at the most energy efficient lighting systems for each location. The District will provide PDF
drawings of each area within the building, and in some cases CAD files are available. Each vendor will be responsible
for site visits. Site visit schedules will be set by District so classroom activities will not be interrupted. A mandatory
pre bid meeting will be scheduled for May 29 th @ 8:00 a.m. at the Operations Center located at 1917 Dean Ave. Des
Moines, IA 50317. In order to have your proposal considered your presence is required at this meeting. Each project
will be discussed in detail; it is the intent of District to award on a project by project basis, but does reserve the right
to award the project(s) in the best interest of the District. Website:
