Energy Project RFP Alert - US NY - Defense Logistics Agency RFI - Energy Conservation Efforts

Description:
The Department of Energy (DOE) super energy savings performance contract (ESPC) will be the contracting vehicle used to implement building efficiency projects at Fort Hamilton, NY. Fort Hamilton provides service and support in such areas as Military Entrance Processing Command (MEPS), Reserve Units, Reserve Office Training Corps (ROTC) Units, Ainsworth Clinic and the NYC Recruiting Battalion. Fort Hamilton is located along the New York City harbor on Long Island and covers 45 buildings and facilities that occupy 707,330 square feet. The customer would like to maximize facility energy savings within the ESPC framework through a holistic analysis of building energy measures. The intent is to optimize the combination of conservation measures with various levels of cost savings to achieve more substantial energy savings. Fort Hamilton is interested in any energy conservation measure (ECM) defined in Attachment J-3 of the DOE ESPC IDIQ basic contract along with any operational improvements.
