The East Hartford Housing Authority will receive sealed bids on or before Thursday, June 14, 2012 , at 2:00 p.m. at the office of said Authority located at 546 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108. Bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to complete the Boiler and Hot Water Heater Replacements at the Hockanum Park Apartments for the East Hartford Housing Authority, 546 Burnside Avenue, CT 06108. Proposed forms of Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications dated May 23, 2012 , will be on file at the office of the above mentioned Housing Authority, as prepared by Capital Studio Architects, LLC, 1379 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108 on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 . Contractors may each obtain a set of plans and specifications at the office of the East Hartford Housing Authority between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. There is a fifty dollar ($50.00) non-refundable deposit in the form of check or money order, to said Authority for each set so obtained. Said deposit check shall be made out to the East Hartford Housing Authority. Electronic Contract Documents are available online at no charge. All bid documents must be completely filled in when submitted. This project is federally assisted, therefore, bidders must comply with the following requirements; Section 3, Compliance HUD Act of 1968; Equal Employment Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246; Non Discrimination Provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Labor Standards Provision of the Davis-Bacon Act and related acts and Contract Work Hours Standards Act; Prevailing Wage determinations as issued by the United States Department of Labor; and all applicable provisions under Title I of the Housing and Community Development provisions under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
