BID LIBBY PUBLIC SCHOOLS HIGH SCHOOL BOILER REPLACEMENT 150 EDUCATION WAY, LIBBY, MT Libby Public Schools is requesting Bids from qualified Contractors for the successful replacement of the High School Boiler and all associated work, including but not limited to asbestos remediation, steam to hot water piping conversion, unit ventilator replacement, and all necessary architectural, plumbing and electrical support. Work outside of the boiler room shall be complete prior to August 31, 2012. The new boilers, system startup and controls shall be Substantially Complete by September 21, 2012. The project includes liquidated damages assessed at five hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day for work that extends beyond the contracted completion date. The one percent (1%) Montana Gross Receipts Construction and Montana Prevailing Wage Rates are both applicable. Interested contractors may obtain the plans from CTA Inc., 2 Main Street, Suite 205, Kalispell, MT 59901, Phone 406.257.8172, or any affiliated plans exchanges, on or after Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Construction Documents and Specifications are available electronically on CD at no charge . A printed set will be provided upon payment of both a $50.00 nonrefundable plan fee and a $50.00 refundable deposit upon return. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter in the District Administration's Conference Room. All Sealed Bids must be clearly marked, "Libby High School Boiler Replacement". All Sealed Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form found in the Specifications and signed by an officer or a person duly authorized to sign Bids ONLY BIDS RECEIVED BY THE SPECIFIED TIME AND AT THE SPECIFIED LOCATION WILL BE CONSIDERED. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE OPENED. Bid Security in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the total Bid must accompany each Bid.
