Pursuant to Education Code Section 44.901, the intent of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), is to solicit responses from Energy Service Companies (ESCOs). For the purposes of this RFQ, ESCO refers to any company that is qualified to provide a
turnkey energy conservations program that includes all the services requested and meets the requirements of the Texas Energy Performance Contracting Guidelines. The response should describe their capabilities to identify the need for, design, install,
maintain, monitor and arrange financing of a large-scale, comprehensive building and energy improvement program. The Granbury Independent School District (GISD) intends to select an ESCO and to award a contract to perform cost-effective building
and energy improvement retrofits. Qualifications are due on or before 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the address indicated within this document and marked according to the directions specified. Based on District needs, any or all district facilities could be included within the scope of this proposal.
