Energy Project RFP Alert - US IN - Indianapolis Housing Agency (Iha) Bid - Various Lights At Barton Tower

Description:
Indianapolis Housing Agency (IHA) owns and/or has certain jurisdiction over 18 Marion
County affordable housing communities, 12 of which are managed by IHA directly. Six
of these communities are in Center Township, with 12 scattered throughout the rest of
the county. Including those opening during 2012, these sites comprise 2,367 total
dwelling units, including 1,916 Public Housing units, 1,749 units funded by Tax Credits,
75 Project-Based Section 8 Units, and 31 market-rate units. Many of IHA’s
communities operate under multiple state or federally-regulated programs. IHA also
administers 7,232 Section 8 units leased under HUD’s Housing Choice Voucher
Program. The Indianapolis Housing Agency (IHA) is seeking quotes from certifiably qualified
firms or combinations of certifiably qualified firms to supply and install various lights
at Barton Towers as described in the quote documents. Documents/forms required for the quote are available on the IHA web at www.indyhousing.org, click on Contracting Opportunities. The IHA will receive sealed quotes from qualified companies or combinations of qualified companies to supply and install lights at Barton Towers, 555 Massachusetts
Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46204 in a sealed envelope identified as to content and
vendor, will be received at the IHA Administrative Offices, at 1919 N. Meridian Street,
Indianapolis, IN 46202-1303 on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 until 2:00 PM local
time; Attention Diane Padgett, Materials and Contracts Manager. Responses will not
be accepted after 2:01 P.M. local time. Responses will then be opened and read
aloud publically. Faxed or e-mail copies of responses will not be accepted.
