Energy Project RFP Alert - US MO - City Of Creve Coeur RFP - Comprehensive Energy Audit

Alert Type:
RFP

Description:
The City of Creve Coeur is soliciting proposals in order to select a firm that will provide professional services for a comprehensive energy audit of the Creve Coeur Government Center, Dielmann Recreation Complex, and Public Works Garage. The Government Center (49,594 square feet) was built as an elementary school in 1948 and subsequently renovated in 1989 to become the Creve Coeur Government Center, which includes city administrative offices, the police department, and the community center. The current HVAC system is a closed-loop glycol system. Fluorescent lighting throughout the building was retrofitted from T12 to T8 lighting in 2012; however, 250-watt metal halide high-bay lighting remains in the community center gymnasium as well as recessed incandescent lighting and parabolic lighting in other sections of the building. Motion-activated light switches were installed in building’s five conference/meeting rooms in 2009. New boilers and hot water heaters were also installed in 2012, and a new cooling tower was installed in 2010. The roof of the building was coated with a heat reflective paint in 2010.
