HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College (HACC) seeks bids from qualified Prime Contract Bidders to construct the above named project. The project is located at the HACC Gettysburg Campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, PA. HACC is committed to providing opportunities for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women Business Enterprises
(WBE). HACC encourages MBE and WBE firms to submit a Proposal for the Work and all bidders to proactively solicit MBE and WBE firms in the bidding and subcontracting process.
The work will be performed under a Single Prime Contract and consists of the replacement of the existing 15-ton rooftop HVAC unit with two (2) separate units: (1) 7.5-ton and (1) 10-ton,
gas-fired rooftop unit. The work will include ductwork demolition, reconfiguration, and new installation to accommodate new units. New controls will be required, as well as modifications to existing controls. New electrical circuits will be required, and new curb will be installed on the roof. A Pre-Bid Meeting and site inspection will be held October 3, 2012 at 9:00am in Lobby 100 of
the HACC Gettysburg Campus. All bidders are encouraged to attend. HACC will receive sealed bids for the work at Three Penn Center, 349 Wiconisco Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110 in Room 223 until 2:00pm on October 11, 2012. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. ONLY BONAFIDE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately following the bid receipt time.
