The Hosford Group, the awarding authority, invites sealed bids from contractors for replacing boilers, air handling equipment and installing new building automation systems for 124 Merrimack Street Lowell, MA 01852, in accordance with the documents prepared by the property ownership. Bids are subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates. The Bid Packages will be available for pickup on Wednesday Septmeber 26th, 2012 at the City of Lowell, Department of Planning & Development, 50 Arcand Drive, Lowell, MA 01852. General bids will be received until 2 p.m. Wednesday October 3rd, 2012. All bids are to be delivered to: City of Lowell, BetterBuildings Program, Department of Planning & Development, 50 Arcand Drive, Lowell, MA 01852. The project location will be available for inspection at 10 a.m. Wednesday September 26th, 2012. Interested bidders will meet at the main entrance on Mass Mills 1. Any interested bidder not on the BetterBuildings Lowell Pre-qualified Contractors list needs to contact Tom Heslin and complete the BetterBuildings Lowell RFQ.
