Sealed bids for OMB/DFM Contract No. MC1002000172 – 900 King Street Facility – Cooling
Tower Replacement will be received by the State of Delaware, Office of Management and Budget,
Division of Facilities Management, at the office StudioJAED, 2500 Wrangle Hill Road, Fox Run Office
Plaza, Suite 110, Bear, DE 19701 until 3:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at which
time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room. Bidder bears the risk of late
delivery. Any bids received after the stated time will be returned unopened.
Project involves the following at the 900 King Street Facility located in Wilmington, Delaware:
removing the existing cooling towers and related items and installing two new cooling towers, new
valves, new base and all related electrical, mechanical and roofing work associated with both the
removal and installation.
Attention is called to construction schedule as detailed in the Bid Documents.
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at
900 King Street, Wilmington, Delaware, for the purpose of establishing the list of subcontractors and to
answer questions. Attendees will meet at the rear door of the building facing French Street prior
to the meeting. Representatives of each party to any Joint Venture must attend this meeting.
