The Northumberland County Commissioners will receive sealed bids at its Office, 399 S. Fifth Street, Sunbury, Pennsylvania 17801, until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 23, 2012. At 10:30 AM that same day, the bids will be opened by the Controller and reviewed. Bids will be tabulated and presented for award at the public meeting at 1:00 PM, October 23, 2012 in the Public Meeting Room, 399 S. Fifth Street, Sunbury, PA 17801. Bids will be received for the following: Court House Natural Gas Boiler System Engineer: Catino Associates, Inc. 802 North Sixth Street Shamokin, Pennsylvania 17872 (570) 648-5405 Contract documents will be on file and may be reviewed at the Northumberland County Commissioners Office. The telephone number for the County is (570) 988-4564. Bidders may obtain one (1) copy of the Specifications from the Commissioners Office upon deposit of 100 dollars ($100.00). Those bidders submitting a bonafide bid, and who return the bidding documents to the County, complete and unmarked within ten (10) calendar days from the date of bid opening will be refunded their money. Bids shall be addressed in the following manner: Northumberland County Controller Northumberland County Administration Center 399 S. Fifth Street Sunbury, Pennsylvania 17801 Bid for Natural Gas Boilers Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the County of Northumberland. Each bid shall be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days. The Northumberland County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Work under this project is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended.
