The City of Belleville is inviting proposals from qualified Proponents for Review/Recommendation &
Replacement of Heating Boilers, HVAC Units & Hot Water Storage at the Yardman Arena & Quinte Sports
Centre, Belleville, ON.
Proposals, properly endorsed and sealed in the envelope provided for the purpose and clearly marked as to
contents, will be received by the Finance Department (Purchasing Services), 1st Floor, City Hall, 169 Front Street,
Belleville, Ontario at 1:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
Proposal documents can be obtained from the Finance Department (Purchasing Services) 1st Floor, City Hall, 169
Front Street, Belleville, Ontario, K8N 2Y8 upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00
including H.S.T. per tender document, in cash, by interac direct payment, credit card or by cheque made
payable to the Corporation of the City of Belleville.
Cash, bid bond or certified cheque, made payable to the Corporation of the City of Belleville in the amount
stipulated in the tender document must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must provide a 100%
Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract Agreement.
A Site Visit to review project extent, conditions and access is scheduled on Thursday, September 27, 2012 @
10:00 a.m. SHARP, at the site, convening at the main entrance of the Quinte Sports Centre Building, 265
Cannifton Road, Belleville ON.
Only Proponents who attend this site visit will be eligible to bid.
