Proposal will be opened and read aloud at this time ENGINEER: ACR Engineering, Inc. 1221 N. 77 Sunshine Strip Harlingen, TX 78550 Telephone 956-425-1400 Competitive Sealed Proposals will be received at the Harlingen CISD's, Administration Building directed to the Attention: Antonio Gracia, Jr. Director of Purchasing, until 2:00PM, Thursday, January 31, 2013. Proposals will be publicly opened and read at this time. Drawings and specifications may be obtained at the following location: Harlingen Office of ACR ENGINEERING, INC., 1221 N. 77 Sunshine Strip, Harlingen, Texas 78550 Phone: (956) 425-1400; Fax: (956) 425-4197 Bidders may obtain one set of Bid Documents and Drawings for a refundable deposit of $150.00 made payable to Harlingen CISD. Deposit of bonafide proposers will be returned in full if complete Documents are returned in good condition within ten (10) days after proposals opening. "The shipping and/or package expense of the delivery of Contract Documents shall be at the proposer's expense." Proposal envelopes shall be plainly marked: "CNST0113 HVAC PHASE IV UPGRADES". No Proposal may be withdrawn after Proposal due date without the consent of the Owner. Bids received after Proposal deadline will be returned unopened to Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids, or accept any Proposal or portion thereof most advantageous to the Owner after the ranking and evaluation. All proposals must be on a lump sum basis including General Contract, Electrical and Mechanical work. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total of proposals submitted must accompany each proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract value will be required upon issuance of contract.
