The General Services Administration announces the solicitation for heating pump variable frequency drive installation at the Melvin Price Federal Building, 750 Missouri Avenue, East St. Louis, Illinois. The scope of work consists of, but is not strictly limited to the following: the correlation of flow rates with reduction in speed of the pumping systems. The contractor shall provide and install new, wall-mounted variable frequency drive motors to control the existing hot water pumps. The new drives shall be connected to the existing motor control center.This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. Funds are currently available. The North American Industrial Classification Code(NAICS) is 238210 with a size standard of $14 million. The estimated cost range for all work is between $25,000 to $40,000. This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. Evaluation factors for award will consist of Past Performance and Price.
