Energy Project RFP Alert - US MT - The National Affordable Housing Network (Nahn) Bid - Rehabilitation And Energy Efficiency Upgrades

Bids with alternates, for 533 Franklin Street and 1025 Hornet Street addressed to The National Affordable Housing Network (NAHN) will be received at the National Affordable Housing Network, 66 W. Park Street, Suite 211, Butte, MT 59701 until 1:00 PM, local time, January 14th, 2013 and then publicly opened and read thereafter. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Although advertised together the bids will be considered separately for each individual property. Acceptance by NAHN of one bid does not guarantee acceptance for both projects. The work generally consists of rehabilitation and energy efficiency upgrades to an existing 861 (+/-) square feet, 1-story, with partially excavated basement residence, its respective lot and related site improvements; and to an existing 1025 (+/-) square feet, 1-story, with partially excavated basement residence, its respective lot and related site improvements. The contract may be funded in whole or in part by NAHN and with federal funds through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) administered by the Montana Department of Commerce, and is subject to all federal laws and regulations. All contractors and subcontractors must adhere to current wage rates as defined by the Davis Bacon Wage Rates. The Contract Documents may be examined at the Butte Builders Exchange, 4801 Hope Road, Butte MT 59701 or by contacting the architect, Intrinsik Architecture, Inc., 111 North Tracy Avenue, Bozeman MT 59715. Contract Documents are available from Intrinsik Architecture, Inc. with a refundable deposit of $100. A Pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, January 7th, 2013, at the project site at 1:00pm, 533 Franklin Street, Butte, Montana and at the project site at 2:00pm for 1025 Hornet Street, Butte, Montana. A 10 % Bid Bond is required. No contractor may submit a bid unless already properly registered in Montana at the time of bid submission with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. "The Montana Contractor Preference" statue, Section 18-1-102, MCA is Not Applicable for this project. NAHN is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Minorities and women are encouraged to apply. NAHN reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, to evaluate the bids submitted and to accept the proposal which best serves the interest of the owner.
