Sealed bids IN DUPLICATE are sought and requested by Honeywell Building Solutions (hereinafter called “ESCO”), for two energy savings contracts at the Camden County Technical School District. Bids are requested for the Construction work in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by ATI Engineers, 24 Commerce Street, Suite 1200, Newark, NJ 07102. Sealed bids will be received at the board office conference room (Building 11), 343 Berlin Cross Keys
Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081 on or before 2PM on February 21, 2012 Prevailing Time. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on the same day, time, and location. No bids will be accepted after this time.This request for Bids is being issued pursuant to the requirement of the Public School Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:-1 et. seq. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, a Certificate Of Surety as per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25 from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder and all subcontractors if necessary with a performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract, along with a certified check, cashiers’ check, or bid bond in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidders base bid, but not in
excess $20,000. All requests for additional information and questions posed by Bidders must be submitted in writing and transmitted to ATI Engineers no later than February 12, 2012.
Prospective bidders may obtain electronic copies of the bid packages by faxing or emailing their contact information to ATI’s offices at 973-286-2864 or alebo@atiengineers.com. There is no charge for the bid
documents. The qualifications required of bidders are set forth in the bid packages. The Bidder’s attention is directed to the fact that all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, ordinances, rules,
and regulations, including P.L. 1975, c.127 and NJAC 17:27 regarding affirmative action, of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction work in the locality of the project shall apply to the Contract
throughout, and they will be deemed to be included in the contract the same as if set forth therein at length. Pursuant to the “The Public Works Contractor Registration Act” (PL 1999, c238), bidders and their
subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and possess a current certificate by said Department indicating compliance with the Act. Pursuant to the “Business Registration of Public Contractors” (PL 2004, c57) BIDDERS AND ALL OF THEIR SUBCONTRACTORS are required to provide “proof of registration”, ENCLOSED WITH THE BID DOCUMENTS, a copy of the organization’s “Business Registration Certificate”, issued by the division of
Revenue. No other form may be accepted.
