The Norwich Housing Authority (Authority) will receive sealed bids from contractors for New Furnaces at Sunset Park, Norwich, CT, 06360. This project generally consists of furnace replacement. A bid package will be available for pick-up beginning January 10, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Bid packages will be available at the main office of the Authority, 10 Westwood Park, Norwich, CT 06360, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost of plans and specifications is $50.00 non-refundable. Checks or Money Orders are to be made payable to the Norwich Housing Authority. Cash is not accepted. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on January 22, 2013. Interested bidders will meet at the Authoritys Community Room, 10 Westwood Park, Norwich, CT. Any bidder not in attendance of this meeting will be held responsible for understanding the extent of the work and the contract requirements. Bids will be received at the main office of the Authority until 2:00 p.m. on February 5, 2013 and publicly opened. Bids shall be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid bond.
