FEBRUARY 19, 2013 AND WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 2 PM OFFICIAL PROJECT TITLE: Districtwide Heating Upgrades at Various Schools: Loretto Elementary School No. 30, Bayview Elementary School No. 84, Pickett Elementary School No. 205, Parkwood Heights Elementary School No. 208, Oak Hill Elementary School No. 210, Martin Luther King Elementary School No. 220 and Greenfield Elementary School No. 222 DCSB Project No. M-83770/OFDC-ITB-005-13 SCOPE OF WORK: Installation of electrical heating strips or powering up heat strips in existing mechanical air handlers at various schools. The estimated construction cost is not to exceed $500,000. All contractors that are interested in bidding are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Duval County Public Schools Administration Building, 1701 Prudential Drive in Room 513D. Failure to attend the pre-bid conference shall result in disqualification of that firm?s proposal. Attendees will be required to sign an attendance register. The project funding is subject to availability of funds as authorized by the Owner. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All bidders and subcontractors shall be licensed Contractors and registered corporations as required by the laws of the State of Florida.
