Proposals will be received by the City Clerk, 100 East First Street, Grand Island, NE
68801 or P.O. Box 1968, Grand Island, NE. 68802 until 4:00p.m. (local time) on June 28,
2012, for modifications and renovations to the City Hall heating and air conditioning
system. The proposal shall include replacement of control systems on the approximate
127 variable air volume boxes, installation of reheat devices on seven selected variable
air volume boxes on the first floor north side, installation of variable speed controls for
fan motors and removal of unnecessary vanes on three air handling units, and installation
of new temperature control sequencing and automation compatible with the existing Jace
6 Tridium management system, or a new non-proprietary control system. Proposals
received after the specified time will be returned unopened to sender. Proposals must be

Proposals will be evaluated based upon the benefit to the City, energy efficiency, merit of
modifications and the purchase price. Proposals shall remain firm for a period of ninety
(90) days after the proposal is due. The City of Grand Island reserves the right to refuse
any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept whichever proposal that may
be in the best interest of the City, at its sole discretion.
