This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation A12PS01513 is being issued as an RFQ . The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-58. Description of the requirements: Line Item #1: Heat Pump - Brand name or equal - the unit to be replaced is a BARD W48H6-B09CXThe unit shall have a built in breaker and electric heating strips. The unit rating is 230/208 vac, 60 HZ and 3 phase. It shall also be 4 ton or greater and suitable to be placed outdoors. The unit must carry the Energy Star Label. The new unit must carry a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER) of 14 or greater. The contractor must also install all new piping for the unit and inspect the duct material for the unit. All of the duct work will remain the same. . Quotes will have to include removal and disposal of the existing heat pump (please see the SOW(Statement of Work) for requirements of the disposal). Quotes shall also include a discussion on warranties. The vendor must have a supervisor (or a similar classification) on site during the fulfillment of the purchase order.
