Energy Project RFP Alert - US GA - Georgia State University Bid - Ls/Cs Chiller Plant & Cooling Tower Replacement

Description:
This Project consists of the replacement of the existing 630 ton water cooled chiller plant serving the Library South and Classroom South Buildings at Georgia State University. The new plant will be a 1,000 ton water-cooled chiller plant to accommodate the existing buildings and an expansion of the Classroom South Building. The existing chillers are located in the basement of the Classroom South Building. The existing cooling towers are located on the roof of the Library South Building. The new chillers will be located in the basement of the Classroom South Building and the new cooling towers will be located on the roof of the Library South Building.

The Owner will receive sealed bids from Contractors in Room 901, Purchasing Department, 1 Park Place South, Atlanta, Georgia. Bids must be physically on the table in the Bid Room by 10:00 a.m. at the time legally prevailing in Atlanta, Georgia on July 19, 2012 for the construction of Project # 000-041-012, Classroom South & Library South Chiller and Cooling Tower Replacement, Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia At the time and place noted above, the bids will be publicly opened and announced.

Bidding Documents are posted on the web site of the Georgia Procurement Registry, at the following URL:
http://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/PRSapp/PR_index.jsp. Acquisition of Bidding Documents from unauthorized sources places the bidder at risk of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information upon which to base a bid.

There will be a pre-bid conference held on June 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the GSU Facilities Office located at the Commerce Club Building, 34 Broad Street 11th Floor, Room 1103, Atlanta, GA 30303. Attendance at this conference is MANDATORY for any Contractor intending to bid on this project. Others may attend if they so desire.
