The Housing Authority of the City of Meriden, 22 Church Street, Meriden, CT 06451, is requesting Proposals from qualified energy consultants to coordinate and manage the Housing Authority of the City of Meriden?s proposed Energy Improvement Plan for energy upgrades. The initial Energy Efficiency and Upgrade Project will begin at Yale Acres, a 163 unit, state housing development but may continue to other existing housing developments and new projects. The Meriden Housing Authority submits this request for Proposals for RFP/Contract documents will be available on, Tuesday June 19, 2012 during normal business hours at the Housing Authority of the City of Meriden, 22 Church Street, Meriden, CT 06451 or by email requests to jamieu@meriden-ha.com All Proposals must be received, whether hand delivered or mailed, no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday July 10, 2012, to the Housing Authority of the City of Meriden, 22 Church Street, Meriden, CT 06451 Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria detailed in the RFP and a recommendation for award made to the Board of the Authority; The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals based on funding availability, negotiates with all qualified sources and to select the proposal that is in its best interest.
