Austin Independent School District requests competitive bids for construction of AISD Project No. G11-60121-GROUP, Interior Lighting Retrofit at: Blackshear Elementary School – 1712 East 11th Street, Austin, Texas 78702; Pearce Middle School – 6401 N. Hampton Drive, Austin, Texas 78723; Zavala Elementary School - 310 Robert Martinez, Jr., Austin, Texas 78702 100% Performance and Payment Bonds required if the bid is over $25,000.
5% Bid Guaranty required. The project primarily involves replacing existing 32 watts T8 lamps with 28 watt lamps as
specified. All work shall be completed after hours without disruption to existing operations.
Contractor shall use feather duster to clean the fixture during the course of lamps replacement. All lamps shall be recycled per state and federal guidelines. This is a turnkey project, where required any ballast installation shall be under the supervision of licensed electrician.
