The Carlynton School District will receive sealed bids for the Carlynton Jr. Sr.
High School Cooling Tower Replacement.
This information will be advertised in the following manner: Pittsburgh Post
Gazette, Signal Item, Suburban Gazette, and the Carlynton web site
(www.carlynton.k12.pa.us)
Bids will be received until August 7, 2012 at 10:00 am. at the Business
Manager’s Office, 435 Kings Highway, Carnegie, PA 15106. Any bids
received after that time will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Said bids
must be received in duplicate and shall be sealed and marked in the lower left
corner “Area Way Wall.” No bids shall be accepted electronically or by fax
transmission. The bidder bears the risk of untimely delivery.
Bids will be opened and read aloud on August 7, 2012 at 10:00 am. In the
Boardroom located in the Administrative Suite, Carlynton Junior-Senior High
School, 435 King’s Highway, Carnegie, PA 15106.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on, July 31, 2012 at 10:00am at Carlynton Jr.
Sr. High School 435 Kings Highway, Carnegie, PA 15106. Attendance is
highly recommended
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the District’s Business
Office, 435 Kings Highway, Carnegie, PA 15106, between the hours of
8:00 am and 2:00pm.
Each bid shall be made upon the form provided in this Project Manual and
shall be accompanied with a 10% bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check.
Once the bid is opened it cannot be withdrawn.
