The City of New London, through the Housing Conservation Program (HCP) will receive bids for: Roofing, Windows, Chimney and Boiler at 147 Norwood Avenue New London, CT 06320 There shall be two (2) site inspections held at this property: Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. A site inspection is mandatory for all contractors planning to bid. Sealed bids will be accepted at 111 Union Street, New London, Connecticut: until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 At which time all bids will be opened publicly. Only bids by pre-registered contractors will be accepted. Documents pertaining to the scope of work and specifications will be available at the site inspections. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to contractors who, by our records, have obtained the original specifications. The City of New London hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, qualified Minority Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and that they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, mental retardation or physical disability including but not limited to blindness, in consideration for an award.
