The project will encompass providing replacements/upgrades for two (2) 125-ton chillers, one (1) 1.64-million BTU gas boiler, and a direct digital computer system. Chillers shall be high efficiency variable speed.
Boiler shall be high efficiency condensing type.
Upgrading existing controls including VAV terminal units.
Connect chillers, cooling tower, boiler, air handling units to new control system.
The building is currently served by an Andover DDC system, which controls all equipment.
A points list is included with this RFP for HVAC equipment to be connected to the DDC system.
Connect lighting control, security system and access control system to new control system.
Connect exhaust fans to control system.
Provide VFDs for cooling tower, chilled water pumps and condenser water pumps.
Provide pre and post install air test and balance.
Provide pre and post install hydronic test and balance.
Pricing shall assume that all work is being installed during off hours.
Contractor shall provide for commissioning of complete control system, including HVAC, lighting, security system and access control.
