Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 P.M. on May 10, 2012, in the office of the
Director of Construction, Machinery Hall, Room 111, GTCC, 601 High Point Rd.,
Jamestown, NC 27282. At that time and place bids will be opened and read aloud. Work
includes, but not limited to, add new walkway lighting at the quad area of the Business Hall
Building, Gerrald Hall Building, Dental Science Building and the Learning Resource Center.
All work to be per the project specifications. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on
April 26, 2012 in Room 111 in Machinery Hall. Attendance is encouraged. Bid packages
will be available at the Office of the Director of Construction on or after April 23, 2012. The
College solicits a 10% MBE/WBE participation as set forth in the notice to bidders of the
contract documents and reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals and
