This energy efficiency upgrade will include the removal and disposal
of existing lighting system components and replacement with new energy efficient fixtures and
components. The work will primarily consist of the removal and replacement of existing T-12
fluorescent fixtures and tubes and replacement with T-8 tubes and fixtures. The works will also
include the installation of other energy efficient lighting components as listed and specified in the
project Bid Package and Special Provisions. The work proposed for various County facilities is
more particularly described in the Plans and Project Special Provisions. All of the work shall be in
accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations. Additionally,
the successful contractor shall be responsible for submitting and obtaining all utility rebates or
