This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Proposal (RFP) HSCG38-12-R-010004 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-57. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This is an unrestricted solicitation. Anticipated award date is 31 July 2012, however this is an estimate and not an exact date. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price contract to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Goodrich Corporation (cage code 3TAH8), 8380 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087 or distributor that can provide documented traceability to the OEM for component. Award will be made to the offeror proposing the lowest price technically acceptable proposal to the Government.
