Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the North Arlington Board of Education, 222 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031 for: Lighting and Ceiling Replacement North Arlington High School 222 Ridge Road North Arlington, NJ 07031 FOR THE NORTH ARLINGTON BOARD OF EDUCATION 222 RIDGE ROAD NORTH ARLINGTON, NEW JERSEY 07031 In accordance with Drawings and Project Manuals, Commission No. 11K069, dated April 15, 2012 together with all work incidental thereto as prepared by the SPIEZLE ARCHITECTURAL GROUP, INC., 120 Sanhican Drive, Trenton, New Jersey, 08618. Sealed bids for the above must be received as a Single Lump Sum Bid by the North Arlington Board of Education, Business Administrator at the Board Office located at 222 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031 by 2:00 P.M. Prevailing Time on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at which time and place all bids will be opened and read to the public immediately thereafter. Neither the Owner, nor the Architect will assume any responsibility for Bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Owner. The Contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Owner. Complete sets of Bidding Documents will be available at the Architect's Office during regular business hours and will be loaned to Bidders upon deposit of One Hundred and Fifty ($150.00) Dollars and can be obtained at the office of the Architect. A separate non-refundable fee of Twenty-Five ($25.00) Dollars per set will be charged for mailing and handling Bidding Documents to Bidders if requested. A separate non-refundable handling charge of Twenty-Five $25.00 Dollars per set will be charged for sending Contract Documents via Federal Express as prearranged and paid for by the Bidder. A deposit check for Bidding Documents and a separate non-refundable check for mailing and/or handling, when requested, shall be made payable to the "Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc.". Any Bidders should contact the Architect's Office at (609) 695-7400 to confirm details of availability of Bidding Documents. Please Note: Deposits will only be refunded if the bidding documents are returned in whole, bound, and in good condition and 1 they are returned ten 10 days prior to the bid due date, or 2 returned within ten 10 after the opening of bids, by a Bidder submitting a bona fide bid. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms provided in the manner designated, and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids shall be marked in a sealed envelope with the name of the project plainly marked on the front of the envelope and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten percent 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.
