Energy Conservation Implementation Project will be received by Cornell University at 121 Humphreys Service Building, Ithaca, New York 14853, until 2:00 PM on November 20, 2012 and then opened publicly and read aloud. The scope of work will include: The scope of this project will provide new DDC controls for air handling units 1-8 in the Level-1 mechanical space, replace heat exchanger and pump controls, and replace temperature sensors and pressure sensors. It will also replace space controls on Levels 1-5, removing pneumatic actuators and exhaust VAV boxes, and installing new DDC controls, electronic DDC controllers/actuators, temperature sensors and reheat control valves. Humidistats will be added to existing humidifiers. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security (bid bond or certified check) in the amount of 10% of total bid. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 26, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Room 102C of the Humphreys Service Building, Ithaca, New York 14853. Bidders may preview and purchase plans and specifications from a secure website for non-refundable fee of $50.00.00 per set.
