Description:
The Board of Trustees of the Free Public Library of the Township of Wayne shall receive sealed proposals at the Municipal Building, 475 Valley Road, Wayne, New Jersey, until 11:00 A.M., prevailing time, Thursday, November 8, 2012, and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Conference Room for Contract 1201, "LIGHTING UPGRADE AT THE MAIN LIBRARY." Copies of the specifications and contract documents for the proposed work are on file and open to public inspection or may be obtained at the Township of Wayne Purchasing Department, 475 Valley Road, Wayne, New Jersey on and after October 19, 2012 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Specifications may also be downloaded in PDF format on the internet at http://www.waynetownship.com/purch.htm. Each proposal must be made upon the prescribed forms furnished with the contract specifications. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Money Order or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said check or bond need not be more than $20,000.00. Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and shall be addressed to the TOWNSHIP CLERK'S OFFICE, and delivered at the place and hour mentioned above. Envelope or Package must be clearly endorsed, Contract 1201, "LIGHTING UPGRADE AT THE MAIN LIBRARY." 1. Each successful bidder shall be required to comply with all provisions of the New Jersey prevailing local wages as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry. 2. Bidder must be registered with the State of New Jersey at time of the award of contract. Bidders will be required to present a copy of their Business Registration Certificate (BRC). 3. Bidders must provide their Ownership Disclosure Certification with bid proposal, failure to provide the same is a non-waivable defect. 4. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27.
