Energy Project RFP Alert - US MT - Montana State University Billings Bid - Replace The Pe Building Boilers

Sealed bids to replace the PE Building Boilers will be received until 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday January 22nd 2013 and will be publicly opened and read aloud at Montana State University Billings (MSUB), Facilities Services Conference Room at 324 N. Rim Road, Billings, MT. The Project replaces the existing steam heating plant along with a separate high efficiency pool heater and water heating plant. Additionally, new digital temperature controls will be included. A MANDATORY PRE-BID WALK-THROUGH IS SCHEDULED FOR Tuesday January 8th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. PARTICIPANTS SHOULD MEET AT MSUB Facilities Services Conference Room. This procurement shall be awarded as a lump sum with a Base bid and three additive alternates. Bids shall be submitted on the form provided within the Contract Documents. Contract documents may be secured at the offices of: Simplicity Consulting, Engineering, & Design 918 Lynch Drive Billings, MT 59105 406.254.7157 A refundable deposit of $50.00 is required for each plan set. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security meeting the requirements of the State of Montana in the amount of 10% of the total bid. After award, the successful bidder must furnish an approved Performance Security and a Labor & Material Payment Security each in the amount of 100% of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids except as noted in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all irregularities or informalities and the right to determine what constitutes any and all irregularities or informalities.
