Sealed bids for DEARNG Contract No. 09-2011, 198th – Boiler Replacement, will be received by the Delaware Army National Guard at the Security Officers desk in the Main
Lobby of the Joint Force Headquarters, Sherwood Park II, First Regiment Road, Wilmington, Delaware, 19808-2191, until 2:00 PM local time on Friday, January 4, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference
Room. Bidder bears the risk of late delivery. Any bids received after the stated time will be returned unopened. This project will require removal and replacements new boilers, additional aspects of the work to be included in this project are header modifications, new controls, valve and meter replacements, changes in associated piping and electrical service.
Attention is called to construction schedule in the Contract Documents.
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at
1330 at the Delaware Army National Guard, 198th Signal ITSB, 1401 Newport Gap Pike Wilmington, Delaware 19804 for the purpose of establishing the listing of subcontractors and to answer questions. Representatives of each party to any Joint Venture must attend this meeting. ATTENDANCE OF THIS MEETING IS A PREREQUISITE FOR BIDDING ON THIS CONTRACT. Sealed bids shall be addressed to the Delaware Army National Guard, Joint Force
Headquarters, First Regiment Road, Wilmington, DE, 19808-2191; ATTENTION: CPT Eugene W. Bledsoe. The outer envelope should clearly indicate: DEARNG CONTRACT NO. 09-2011 – 198th – Boiler Replacement - SEALED BID – DO NOT OPEN.
