Work includes removal and installation of chiller, cooling tower, CRAC and AHU and associated electrical: minor restroom renovation and plumbing (Walk through: December 18, 2012 at 9:00 AM - Wilson Hall Lobby, 377 Western Avenue, Westfield, MA), shall be received by Westfield State University at the Procurement Office, 333 Western Ave., Westfield, MA 01086 until 2:30 PM, January 8, 2013 for Sub-bid and until 2:30 PM on January 16, 2013 for General bid and then in said office opened publicly and read aloud. Proposal documents will be available December 11, 2012 at 2:30 PM and may be obtained at the Procurement Office at 333 Western Avenue, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, or by calling 413-572-5245. Plan availability limited 12/24/12 - 01/01/13. All proposals for this program are subject to the provisions of either or both Mass. G.L., Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended and Mass. G.L., Chapter 149, Section 44A-44T inclusive. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rate to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under the provisions of Mass. G.L. Chapter 149, and Section 26 to 27 D inclusive. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
