Description:
The purpose of these specifications is the completion of a contract. This work will be
performed at the main Middlesex County College campus in Edison, New Jersey, at the
College Center (CC), Performing Arts Center (PAC), Instructional Resource Center (IRC)
and Physical Education (PE) buildings.
SCOPE OF WORK
The contractor shall provide all of the necessary labor, materials, tools and equipment
required to complete the work described on the drawings and in these specifications as
follows:
Base Bid:
a. College Center (CC) – Remove and Replace existing metal Cooling Tower located on
the building roof with a fiberglass
b. Instructional Resource Center (IRC) – Remove and Replace the existing Chiller Unit
located in the Mechanical Room AHU and Remote Condensing Unit located on the
building roof including all associated piping, valves, instruments, electrical, etc.

c. Physical Education (PE) – Remove the 3 existing boilers and associated piping
located in the boiler room and provide 6 modular style boilers including all
associated venting, piping, valves, instruments, electrical, etc.
