The San Mateo County Transit District (District) seeks a responsive and responsible contractor to furnish and install two (2) each HVAC packaged unit heat pumps, 3-ton and 4-ton capacities, on a 4-story rooftop. The resultant contract will be a Public Works contract. Prevailing wages will apply. Bidders must posses a valid license in one of the following CSLB classifications: C.20 HVAC or Class B General Building license. Potential bidders must register on this Contracts and Procurement website, and wait for approval (which could take up to 48 hours) before viewing and downloading documents. Registration will include selecting the applicable expertise codes, which are "Building, General (B)", and "Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (C20)." At this time, no changes have been made to the IFB. The purpose of this posting is to provide the Pre-Bid Conference Sign-In Sheet, which is attached. The Pre-Bid Conference Agenda is attached. It is highly likely that an Addendum will be issued. Bidders are advised to monitor the website (and their eMails for notices) for subsequent changes and for Answers to Questions and Requests for Equals. Questions and Answers #1 is attached and available for review and downloading. There will be more questions and answers in the near future that will be posted.
