Energy Project RFP Alert - US AZ - Yuma County Bid - School Superintendent Lighting Modifications

Description:
Scope of Work: Yuma County is accepting proposals for furnishing all material, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the referenced project: Project Number #12-2725C-002, Lighting Modification for Energy Efficiency. The project will consist of replacing existing lamps and/or ballast as indicated in "Exhibit A", with more high efficiency lamps and/or ballasts as indicated in "Exhibit B". Contractor shall develop an area by area survey indicating the location/room number; quantity of fixtures, number of lamps per fixture and
occupancy/day light sensor(s) type. Contractor is responsible for field verifying information, conditions and determining the quantity of fixtures/equipment. Contractor shall install an occupancy/day light sensor(s) either at the ceiling or at the switch wherever the retrofitted light fixtures are indicated in the Exhibits, but not limited to within the enclosed office space, conference rooms, storage rooms and restrooms, as appropriate. All motion sensor(s) are to be programmed /adjusted after installation to the satisfaction of the Project
Coordinator. Matched lamps/ballast systems are to have a minimum of 5-years combined manufacture warranties. Contractor shall transport removed lamps and ballast to a designated area and place in owner supplied containers. Owner shall arrange for recycling of lamps and ballasts materials. Contractor shall complete and provide the utility incentive pre and final applications and supporting documentation to the owner and fill out and submit any and all warranty paper work. Contractor shall provide training, if needed.
The project area is to be cleaned and secured daily. Posting of any and all construction signs will be the contractor's responsibility. Work will be performed between 6am — 4pm, Monday thru Friday. Selected contractor will be responsible for dust/noise control and run off. The selected contractor will be responsible for all applicable permit(s) and special inspection(s); architectural or engineering services, if needed or required. Proposal must be submitted on company's official letterhead. Any disruption to the area must be pre-approved and coordinated with the Project Coordinator.
