Introduction
This Invitation for Bid, hereinafter referred to as an IFB, is an invitation to the vendors of
Lighting Fixtures to prepare and submit quotes to Henderson State University (HSU). Bids
should be prepared simply and economically to provide a straightforward, concise response to the
requirements set forth in the IFB. It is the intent of the staff coordinating this IFB to provide
equal and objective information and assistance to all bidders concerned.
Scope of Request
The purpose of the IFB specified herein is to remove existing lighting, furnish, deliver and install
the specified Sport Lighting Fixtures onto existing poles on the campus of Henderson State
University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas. You may bid on just the Fixtures and accessories, just the
installation or both. The contract will be awarded in a manner that is most beneficial to
Henderson State University. That is, it will be awarded to the lowest bidder that can provide the
fixture and installation or to two separate contractors (supplier and installer) with the lowest bid
