This is a pre-solicitation notice to notify contractors that the Government is contemplating advertising a solicitation in the near future for the Replacement of Air Conditioning Units in building 119 on Morón AB, Spain. This is not a request for proposal, and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The solicitation shall include but shall not be limited to the following: replace existing air conditioning units at Morón Air Base, Spain. It also covers requirements for storage, transportation, disposal and housekeeping activities on the site or location at which these activities are performed. This description of work is for general information only. It is not our intention to describe every feature of items of work or to define the scope of work. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP), Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) solicitation. The Contractor's proposal must include an updated Certificate of Classification issued by the Spanish "Registro Oficial de Licitadores y Empresas Clasificadas del Estado" of the "Ministerio de Economía y Hacienda" covering Group I, Subgroups 5 and 6, and Category B and Group J, Subgroup 2, Category B held by the Contractor or his subcontractor. Award will be made to the offer representing the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.
