The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 2250 Leestown Road, Lexington KY has a requirement for the following work in accordance with specifications and drawings: Construction Project 596-09-105 Replace HVAC is for the replacement of the existing HVAC System in Building 29 at the Leestown Road location with HVAC System that meets the VA's HVAC guidelines. The work includes replacing two (2) air handlers, to include, distribution duct work, fan coil units, pumps and piping, and exhaust fans to allow sufficient heating/cooling/ventilation for occupants. Work also includes asbestos abatement and hazardous waste removal; demolition work; relocation of lighting, sprinkler heads, fire/speaker, ceiling device, CCTV cameras, area smoke detectors; new lighting; FCU connection/wiring; panel boards (100, 225, and 400 amp); feeders (100 and 200 amp), controls; air and water balancing; temporary doors; re-roofing at dormers, acoustical ceiling; vinyl tile floor and wall base replacement; aluminum soffit system work; and painting. There may be a requirement for some evening work. The construction cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with your bid if it exceeds $150,000.
